September 2026 Rally

Dates: September 11 - 14 (Fri - Mon)

Campground: Pocono Speedway Racetrack Infield

Location: Long Pond, PA

Hosts: Sonessas and B. Furgusons (Joint Rally with Penn Coachmen)


The September Rally will be a joint rally with the Penn Coachmen Chapter from Eastern PA.

We will be staying at the Pocono Speedway Racetrack in the infield. This is where the drivers stay
during Nascar events. The dates of the rally are September 11 - 14 with early bird check in on
the 9th for those interested in coming in early. We are also looking for a halfway way point up Interstate 81
for those interested in taking 2 days to go to the rally and also return home so we do not have to make the
entire drive in 1 day.

We will need to provide a number of attendees to the Rally leader from Penn Coachmen
no later than Feb 1 for those who are interested in going.

We will be sending out a Rally Registration form during January for the Rally. Will also
include information on meals.

I also need to get an idea of the number of coaches who are interested in joining with the Penn Coachmen
for their September rally at the Pocono Race way( we will be staying in the infield where the drivers stay during
nascar events with FULL hook ups). This event is scheduled for September 11 - 14 with the ability to arrive early
on the 9th for those interested.

We currently have 7 coaches who have expressed a desire to go. For those of you who are interested in making it
a 2 day travel TO AND FROM the event, Brent has found some space at Candy Hill Campground in Winchester
so we donot have to make the journey all in one day. At this time we are looking to get a NUMBER of those interested
in going so we can get a better group rate at Candy Hill.

We would arrive on September 8th for 1 night and then head to the race way on the 9th. We will stay there on
the way home also on September 14th. But as you all know, RV spots fill up quickly so I would hate to miss out
on a great opportunity. We will be getting additional information at to the group as soon as it becomes available
